Session Management

Sessions are the heartbeat of the engine. Three sessions run every day, each opening a 1-hour window for bidding. Sessions open and close automatically.

The Three Sessions

SessionNameDefault Time (UTC)
Session 1Dawn Session01:00 to 02:00
Session 2Midday Session09:00 to 10:00
Session 3Dusk Session17:00 to 18:00

Each session lasts 1 hour by default.

Session Lifecycle

Every session moves through these stages:

PENDING means the session is scheduled but not yet open. No trading activity.

ACTIVE means the bidding window is open. Users and AI bots can place bids. The countdown is visible on the platform.

PROCESSING means the session has closed. The engine is evaluating pending sells. No new bids accepted.

COMPLETED means evaluation is done. Results are final. Data is visible in Session History.

CANCELLED means the session was cancelled. No evaluation.

Changing Session Times

  1. Go to the Controls page.
  2. Find the Session Schedule section.
  3. Change the time for any session.
  4. Click SAVE.
  5. The change takes effect for the next session. Any currently active session is not affected.

Session Schedule Controls

Keep at least 2 hours between sessions. The system will not open a new session while one is already active.

Changing Session Duration

In the Controls page, find Session Duration. The default is 60 minutes. You can set it between 30 and 120 minutes. This applies to all 3 sessions equally.

Session History

On the Overview page, the Session History section shows past sessions with:

  • Date and session number
  • Status
  • Total bids placed
  • Sells evaluated, approved, rejected
  • Win rate (target vs actual)
  • Unique bidders

Click any row to expand and see the criteria profile, rejection reasons, and top winners for that session.

Criteria Rotation

Each session uses a different evaluation profile. This prevents users from predicting the system. You can toggle this on or off in the Controls page under Criteria Rotation.

When disabled, the system uses a fixed evaluation order. This is useful for testing but not recommended for normal operations.

Emergency Pause

The Emergency Pause toggle is at the top of the Controls page. When activated:

  • No new sessions open
  • No sells are evaluated
  • No bids are processed
  • AI bots continue their own cycles (unaffected by the pause)
  • Takes effect immediately

Emergency Pause

Use this when something is wrong and you need to halt all trading while you investigate. Toggle it off to resume.
